The Muskegon Conservation District is in need of volunteers to help us preserve, protect and restore local natural resources.
Throughout July, August and September the Conservation District will be working throughout the area to pull weeds and invasive plants along recently established shoreline habitat sites; re-plant and re-seed restoration areas that didn't survive due to drier conditions last summer; planting seedling trees along river corridors to improve water quality; and establishing plants in a restored wetland to increase native diversity.
If you would like to volunteer with the Conservation District, please CONTACT US. If you have a preference for days of the week or times that you would be willing to help please include this information as well.
We also rely on donations to help ensure the health and beauty of Muskegon County's natural resources both for today and for future generations to come. CLICK HERE if you would like to make a charitable contribution to the Muskegon Conservation District.
Thank you for your continued support in helping to create an environmental legacy for our community!
