Join us in our mission to conserve, protect and restore West Michigan’s natural resources. Consider a gift to the Muskegon Conservation District today. Your tax-deductible contribution will go directly to on-the-ground conservation work in West Michigan and help us accomplish our 2022 goals.

Through the generous support of previous donors, the Muskegon Conservation District has established an organizational community fund with the Community Foundation for Muskegon County. This fund was established as a way to ensure conservation, preservation, and restoration are a part of OUR legacy, while helping to create yours.

The Muskegon Conservation District Endowment Fund was established to support and enhance District operations such as critical conservation and preservation activities, and innovative restoration projects. The fund also provides overhead for inventive on-site initiatives like updating buildings and equipment in the most environmentally sensitive and sustainable manner.

Even if you have made a cash donation to us in our request to Support the District, please consider giving a gift to this Community Foundation fund by:

Estate gifts, retirement plan gifts, and bequests can also be made to us by naming the Conservation District as “The Muskegon Conservation District, a not for profit governmental subdivision of the State of Michigan, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Michigan (Part 93 of Act 451 of 1994, as amended) and with a principal address of 4735 Holton Road, Twin Lake, MI 49457.” All donations are tax deductible under Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Muskegon Conservation District was formed in 1938, and remains active to this day helping restore, protect, and manage natural resources. In this effort the District depends on your financial contributions to continue building on our successes and leading the way for hands-on conservation in your community.
